India’s latest third lunar probe, Chandrayaan-3, has landed on the Moon! Like Chandrayaan-2, it includes a lander named Vikram and a rover named Pragyan. Its propulsion system works orbitally. And now India has become the fourth country to land on the moon!

Ahead of the launch, ISRO said it is ready to begin the autonomous landing process, which is expected to begin at 5:44 pm. On July 14, Chandrayaan-3 was launched. Only the United States, Russia and China, apart from India, managed to land a soft landing on Earth’s only natural satellite. After this successful landing, India became the fourth country in the world to land a spacecraft on the Moon!

Today at 6:04 pm, the Indian Space Research Organization’s Chandrayaan-3 mission made a smooth and flawless landing. At 5:20 p.m., the live broadcast of the landing ceremony began.
