Do you want to party all night in an exclusive pub? Your wishes can come true in Gurgaon. Under the new Haryana government excise policy, bars and pubs in Gurgaon can now stay open until 8:00 am. These restaurants will be able to operate until 8:00 am. paying an additional annual fee of ₹ 20,000 lakh to the excise department. Currently, the bars in Gurgaon can be open until 3 am. The new policy will come into effect from 12 June 2022.
Liquor vendors will operate 24/7 in Gurgaon
Not only can pubs stay open for longer hours, but the excise department has also decided to allow liquor vendors to operate four hours longer than usual for 25% of the annual license fee. They can operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week if they pay 50% of the annual fee.
Cafes can serve beer and wine
In addition to pubs and bars, the Haryana government also allows cafes in Gurgaon to serve beer and wine. They will have to pay an annual license fee of ₹ 5 lakh to be able to serve beer and wine.
