Vistara is the best airline in India and South Asia
Vistara was awarded the prestigious award for best airline in India and South Asia at the 2021 Skytrax World Airline Awards. It was ranked as the 28th best airline in the world. Vistara was also ranked 4th in the list of the most improved airlines in the world of 2021. In addition to these, the airline was ranked as the best in India for cabin cleaning. It also received the airline’s best staff award in India and South Asia. IndiGo was ranked the 49th best airline in the world.
AirAsia is the leading low cost airline in the world
For the ninth time in a row, AirAsia was once again recognized as the world’s leading low-cost airline at the 2021 World Travel Awards (WTA). They counted the votes based on travelers’ recent travel experiences and pre-pandemic travel. The WTA celebrates excellence in the key sectors of travel, tourism and hospitality. On April 6, Air Asia announced that it will resume flights between India, Malaysia and Thailand starting this month. So this is good news for Indians who want to travel to Malaysia and Thailand.
AirAsia was ranked as the best low cost airline in the world
AirAsia was ranked as the best low cost airline in the world. IndiGo was ranked as the fifth best low cost airline. Other low cost airlines from around the world included in the list are Southwest Airlines, Scoot, Vueling Airlines, EasyJet, Jetstar Airways, Ryanair, Jetstar Asia and Flynas.
Emirates has earned the rank of best airline for in-flight entertainment. Skytrax has also ranked Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGIA) as the best airport in India.
Skytrax publishes the list of the 100 best airlines in the world of 2021
Based on the survey conducted between September 2019 and July 2021, Skytrax announced the names of the world’s top 100 airlines. The rankings were given based on the votes received by travelers. Qatar Airways took the top spot on the list, becoming airline of the year. Vistara was ranked as the best airline in India. The top 10 airlines in the world for 2021 are:
