One97 Communications, the owner of financial technology company Paytm, on Wednesday announced a partnership with Amadeus to integrate the travel technology company’s search, booking and payment platform over the next three years.
Amadeus’ distribution capabilities will help Paytm deliver the right results, the fintech company said. “Paytm will offer personalized advice and competitive pricing to deliver a world-class experience to its users through Amadeus,” he said.
Through the Amadeus application programming interface (API), Paytm users will have access to global flight options. The API will allow users to find flight deals that they can book on the Paytm app.
It will provide users with access to travel content, including that of global distribution systems, low-cost carriers, hotels, and others. The agreement with Amadeus will enable Paytm to offer a Passenger Name Record (PNR) solution in partnership with Indian carriers.
