In an interview with National News, Juhi Rupani, the creative director of the company, said that it takes about 3 days to complete a 12-second video. She further added that the video was made from a footage of the Burj Khalifa shot on an iPhone. The team then superimposed the Burj Khalifa video with the animated Barbie. Taha Dungerwala was the man behind this creation.

Barbie fans in the UAE are waiting for the release of August 31. But before Barbie hits the big screen in the Emirates, many are in for the big arrival of the doll. The CGI footage shows the beautiful Mattel doll wearing a zebra-print bikini with a ponytail and sunglasses, similar to the one worn by the original Barbie doll when it was launched in 1959.

Directed by Greta Gerwig, Barbie is causing a stir around the world and we can’t wait to see the movie on the big screen.
