But not everyone has the opportunity to travel because some have lost their jobs or even due to current market inflation. However, people are willing to travel and find ways to finance the expenses. With the rise in demand for travel after the pandemic, the travel and tourism industry has come up with “Travel Now, Pay Later”. It is quite similar to the buy now pay later solution.

Pay for your expenditure in different segments

The price of hotels and tickets fluctuates all the time, unlike in any other industry. With travel now, pay later, the credit rating risk is based on the data points collected during the ride. You can now access the bigger ticket for you and your family and pay for everything within 36 months. Travelers can completely avoid paying a large amount all at once and instead pay it back at different intervals over a certain period of time.

MakeMyTrip just announced yesterday that it has partnered with 15 banks, NBFCs and fintech players, including HDFC Bank, IDFC Bank, Capital float and Zest Money, for their new “Book Now, Pay Later” initiative. Travelers can access it during the flight and hotel booking process on both MakeMyTrip and Goibibo.

The specialized travel solution now pays later allows the traveler to finalize their trip based on their own customizations and requirements.
