These Countries Have Updated Their Rules in The Middle of a Covid Surge

The world is upside down with a coronavirus pandemic. Only when everything began to return to normal after so long, positive cases jumped again. Everyone wanders around and explores the world without fear, but things took a turn again. If you are thinking of traveling abroad, you must follow some limitations and restrictions in various destinations.

 

 

United Arab Emirates

At present, there are no strict rules to travel to or from the United Arab Emirates.

  1. No PCR test is needed if you are fully vaccinated. If you have a recovery certificate from Covid-19 issued about 30 days of departure, there is no test mandated.
  2. Children who fly to Dubai under 12 years do not require any test.
  3. Also, children who fly to Abu Dhabi under 16 years do not need any tests.
  4. Tourists do not fall into the criteria mentioned above need to take the PCRS test within 48 hours of travel.

 

United States of America

If you are traveling to the US, then wearing a mask inside the airline no longer needs. The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention lifted the recommendations of ‘Don’t travel’ Covid-19 recommendations for almost 90 destinations. The rules will be increased anytime, so be sure to check this status before making your trip plan to the United States.

 

Thailand

AirAsia is restarting flights from India to Thailand. The new 5 routes from India are Chennai-Bangkok (Don Mueang), Bengaluru to Bangkok (Don Mueang), Bengaluru to Kuala Lumpur (Don Mueang), Kochi to Bangkok (Don Mueang), Kolkata to Bangkok (Don Mueang), and Jaipur to Bangkok (Don Mueang).

The dates of resuming these flight ways:

  1. Chennai to Bangkok- 4 May
  2. Jaipur to Bangkok- 1 May
  3. Bengaluru to Bangkok- 4 May
  4. Kochi to Bangkok- 1 May
  5. Kolkata to Bangkok- 2 May

Indians will easily get a visa after arriving in Thailand.

Europe

Europe slowly began to lifting restrictions only a few weeks ago and now everything is limited.

  1. Albania is still following all COVID-19 measures and the night-time curfews from 11 pm to 6 am as well. Face masks are mandatory on public transport and even indoors.
  2. Masks are mandatory indoors like shops, public transport, and worship places in Belgium. If you are visiting  Belgium for more than 48 hours, then you have to fill in a Passenger Locator Form.
  3. COVID vaccination certificate, negative PCR test result taken before 72 hours, or an antigen test 24 hours before travelling is necessary while travelling to Croatia.
  4. Italy dropped all of its ‘state of emergency’ on 31 March but later extended the travel restrictions till 30 April.
  5. Tourists are allowed in Bosnia and Herzegovina if they can present negative PCR results 48 hours prior to the travel or the vaccination report. Everyone needs to wear masks both indoors and outdoors.
  6. Travelling to Estonia will require you to follow a 10-day quarantine period if you are coming from an EU/EEA country that has an infection rate of more than 150 cases per 100,000 people in the last 2 weeks.
  7. To enter Bulgaria, tourists need to present negative COVID-19 PCR test results 72 hours before the travelling day.
  8. Greece lifted all the entry rules. Using masks is a mandate from 2 May.
  9. Wearing masks is necessary indoors in Andorra. Social distancing is also followed here.
