Singapore Airlines has announced fare offers from India to Southeast Asian destinations such as Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia starting at ₹ 17,900 from India. Airline tickets to Australia and the United States will be available at ₹ 40,200 and ₹ 51,400 respectively. Singapore Airlines offers up to 50% discount on airline tickets.
Singapore Airlines had previously launched non-destination flights
Singapore Airlines is looking to launch non-stop flights that will depart and land at Changi Airport. In an effort to bolster its failing business, the deal could be rolled out as early as next month. As reported, the airline is working to launch this option for domestic passengers, “flights to nowhere” at the end of October.
Singapore Airlines collaborates with the Singapore Tourism Board
To quench travel thirst among travelers, Singapore Airlines explored a partnership with the Singapore Tourism Board to allow enthusiastic sponsors to pay for such flights in part with government-provided tourism credits. As for the flight operation, the flight departed from Changi Airport and returned after being in the air for about three hours. In addition to this, the airline is also looking to include partnerships with hotels to offer hotel stays, shopping vouchers at Jewel Changi Airport, and a limo service to transport customers.
On this, the Singapore Airlines spokesperson told a major newspaper,
“SIA is evaluating various initiatives that would allow us to continue to involve both our customers and the public”.
