Private driving training centers can only be operated by the state transport authority or central government. According to Department of Highways and Transportation regulations, anyone who has previously passed the exam at a state-accredited driving center does not need to take the RTO driving exam. You will need to pay a “application fee” and then enter the “Submit” option.

What documents are needed for a driver’s license?

Under the new 2022 rules, you will need to submit and upload certain documents in order to continue the process.

You need to submit any ‘Proof of age’. It can be your birth certificate or educational certificate or passport, pan card, or even employer certificate.

For the ‘Proof of Address’, you can submit the Ration card, passport, Aadhar card, rent agreement, utility bill, or Life Insurance policy certificate.

You also need 4 Application Forms during the process.

Forms 1 and 1A are needed as they are used as medical certificates.
