The newly opened Apple Store in Mumbai’s BKC (Bandra Kurla Complex) is facing a long queue of people eager to buy the iPhone 15. Although customers have been able to pre-purchase the new iPhones since September 15, the delivery of orders and in-store sales didn’t start until Friday. For the first time, the availability of iPhone 15 in India coincides with its general release.
Long queues started forming outside Apple stores in BKC, Mumbai and Saket, New Delhi, early in the morning, even before the store doors opened. Many customers waiting in the queue have come from different cities, including Bangalore and Ahmedabad. They have been up since 4am to buy a new iPhone. Most of them are loyal Apple users and already own the previous edition of the iPhone series.

Both the Dynamic Island and the USB-C charger are included in the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus, which were previously introduced in the iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max.
