Where to Eat and Drink

  • Indira Gandhi International Airport has plenty of variety in the culinary sector, ranging from authentic Indian eateries to Western favorites. There’s a McDonald’s, KFC, Pizza Hut, and Subway if you’re hunting for something familiar. If you’re more adventurous, try the Chaat (traditional street food) at Punjab Grill. The kebabs and chutney at Ile Bar, or the curry at Café Delhi Heights, all in Terminal 1 Departures. Buddy Bar is the perfect place to grab a drink at Terminal 1 Arrivals.
  • The food court at Terminal 3 International Departures features Dilli Street (New Delhi-style street food), Curry Kitchen, and Punjabi Kulfi. Terminal 3 Domestic Departures has Grid Bar (a watering hole and smoking lounge) and Vaango (authentic South Indian to-go).

Know Before You Go

Delhi airport has three terminals. Do note that some domestic flights have been moved to Terminal 3 to facilitate the current airport expansion works.

  1. T- 1 (domestic) — divided into two buildings (1C for arrivals and 1D for departures) within walking distance of each other.
  2. Terminal 2 (domestic) — flights of budget carriers Indigo and Spice Jet can be found here.
  3. Terminal 3 (international) — all international airlines.

It’s possible to walk between Terminal 2 and Terminal 3 in under 5 minutes. In other words Transferring between Terminal 1 and Terminal 3 requires commuting on National Highway 8. So it’s necessary to take either the free shuttle bus or a cab. Allow about 45 minutes to an hour for the transfer.

How do I reach Terminal 2?

You can either reach IGI T2 by Delhi metro or by cab.

If you are taking a metro, you have to take the Airport Metro. After that You need to get down at the ‘Airport’ stop for both delhi airport igi terminal 2 and T3. (Aero city stop is only for T1)

Directions: After getting off at the ‘Airport’ stop, please head downstairs for T3 Arrival. But Cross arrivals and continue to walk straight for 5-7 mins till you reach the bus stand. Because Opposite the Bus stand is the T 2 building.

To get to the T2 building you will need to use the subway situated behind the bus stop. Once you reach the building via the subway take the lift. Located to the right and go to the first (1st) floor for Departure.

If you are taking an OLA or Uber, enter IGI T2 as the location. Or if you still don’t find it try searching for T3. You may then find the option of terminal 2 airport.

To get to T2 by road, use the main access road to T3. Shortly before reaching the departure ramp of T3. There is a clear marking to turn right towards T2 which is adjacent to T3.
